Frequently asked questions: FAQs

Illustration: pages with question marks on them

We all have questions, whether we’re looking for a diagnosis or trying to learn how to live with one.

In this section, I have organized questions that people have asked me, along with my answers. In each case, I have tried to ensure that what is published here does not contain information that would reveal the identity of the person who sent me the original question.

The questions are grouped by topic areas that are listed on the left side of this page. Click on a subject, for example, "Mast Cells," to see the questions related to that term. Then click on the question that interests you to open the panel and see the answer.

Your questions are welcome, too

If you have a question that you'd like me to answer, please send it to me via e-mail.
